I had to figure out a flashback scheme for this strip... I typically do black & white for them in Zombie Roomie, but there are non-flashbacks that I want to do in black & white for Dam It! so having that aesthetic choice for them would feel weird.

So I ended up working on a faux old school comic book look. I'm not saying this is the flashback for all of DI!... but it was interesting to work up for this.
